Many of us have special holiday traditions passed down through generations. These could be decorations that have been put out for years and carry warm memories, or special treats that are specific to our celebrations, storytelling, and seasonal events.
Executive Director, Angela Breidenbach, shared some of her family’s traditions in a heartwarming blog post last year. She talks about how the tradition of receiving an orange at Christmas may have changed, but the story behind it has stayed with her. She shared precious family photos and talked about the family bonds that are created when those photos and pictures are passed down through generations.
